I watched as both of my grandparents struggled with dementia-related-diseases for nearly a decade, one with Alzheimer's and one with Lewy Body Dementia. It inspired me to focus my Master's thesis on Alzheimer's Disease and to then work with individuals diagnosed with dementia-related-diseases after I graduated.
