VHS and other videotape formats weren't made to stand the test of time. They are sensitive to heat, light, & moisture. Even in the best conditions, they will deteriorate over time.
Digital formats will last forever.
WHY CHOOSE SHARED MEMORIES?
Your video footage can be enhanced to improve brightness, color, audio, lighting, and shakiness.
There is not a set limit for amount of tapes per DVD. Your tapes will be combined to fit as much footage as possible onto 1 DVD.
Unwanted or blank footage can be trimmed - so you aren't paying for the 5 minutes that your dad had the camera pointed at the ground. :)

FAQ
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
$20 per hour of footage used. You are not charged for unused, trimmed footage. (e.g. the 5 minutes your parents had the camera pointed at the ground, static, etc. ) This price includes edits & 1 DVD.
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Paypal, cash, or check is accepted. You will receive a detailed invoice.
IS THERE A BOOKING FEE?
There is not a separate booking fee. However, a $20 deposit is required at the time of booking.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
If you have a large amount of tapes and would prefer to not pay at once, a payment plan that best fits your needs and project size can be established.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
This depends on my current volume and the amount of tapes in your project. At the time of booking, you will be given an estimated turnaround time.
WHAT TYPES OF TAPES DO YOU ACCEPT?
Currently, VHS and VHS-C are accepted. Other videotape formats including MicroMV, MiniDV, Video8, Hi8, & Digital8 will be accepted soon.
